Inside of e90 door creaking
My door creaks over bumps and when the frame twists on the passenger side, I know it’s not the seals, as I can press on the door right below the trim (front passenger) and move it slightly and replicate the noise. Anyone experience this or have an easy fix before I tear apart my door to try to find the culprit?

The door card is held on with about 4x T30 (if I recall correctly) torx screws. There are also about a dozen plastic press-in fasteners, which 1-2 will possibly break when you remove the door card.
I'd start by prying off the aluminum/wood trim piece and checking for a loose screw / tightening solves the problem. Apart from that, the door card comes off easily, you'll want to unplug the speaker wire too. |
