Door Lock beep / chirp mod how to
Can anyone tell me if they know of a tutorial on how to install a piezo type buzzer for the door lock and unlock to chirp? Thanks!

It's not that simple. If you have a pre-09 (not 100% sure on the build dates) you are prewired for the alarm. You could then install the OEM alarm and code it to work. If you are after that year you are not prewired. The only option then is to get a product like the RemoteKey+ which emulates an alarm with the beep.

hmm. ok i just figured there was a way because the e46 guys were able to do the same thing for about $5. Not looking to drop the amount of cash they want for a factory alarm. all i want is an audible lock confirmation.
