Thumbs up Looks like the Frisia is going to be EARLY!!

Hey All My fellow Bimmerheads!

I was checking the Kline website and it looks like the Frisia will be hitting Charleston on the 6th (EDIT: Or 7th)! Not the 9th. It looks like they changed the schedule. It used to say the night... musta switched with Baltimore. Im soooo excited. This car cant get here fast enough.

http://www.kline.com/KAMCarCarrier/s...ticshuttle.asp - Link for the schedule page.

EDIT: According to this site the Frisia will be there on the 7th... not the 6th so its still early... just not as early - http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp

Has your salesman told you how long it will take from Charleston to Houston?

My CA also called me today today to let me know that the ship was coming in a few days early on 11/6/06 as well; he thinks I'll take delivery in about 7-10 days! I guess the Frisia captain is hauling a-s...maybe his own 335i Coupe is also on board!!!

Hopefully it docks tomorrow! My CA said it would take 3 to 4 days from dock to get the car up to Pittsburgh.

Hopefully it docks today... If not tomorrow. The Kline site says the 6th... and so do the dealers I believe. We will see.

You guys are lucky that you live in warm climates. The first thing I have to do is buy a set of snowtires and some "winter rims."

No tahnks, 18 years was enough of that for me! Haven't driven in the snow in almost 20 years!! At least you have anti-lock brakes and DSC.

Yeah... I lived in Toronto, Canada for a few years. I am damn happy I dont anymore. Unforunately we get a lot of rain in Houston though. I want to move back to Cali.

Either of you getting any accessories?

I have been thinking about the IPOD interface, chrome tips and tint.

See my sig...

My dealer is installing the alum. (or ss) pedals and doing the window tinting before I take delivery.

I'm also getting the rear deck spoiler, although I know a lot of ppl here think it's ugly. I still think the 335i Coupe looks a bit unfinished in the rear w/o a spoiler, so I'm going for it, and apparently, I'm not the only one b/c there's a huge nat'l backorder for it. BMW is supposed to be mfgr'ing more spoilers; I think there's like 80 on current backorder (i.e. - 80 ppl are on a waitlist for the rear deck spoiler).
