Not to bring up an old topic, but how much of the rubber gasket are people leaving when putting these on? I see some pics where there's a slight gap between the roof and roof spoiler, and others that are almost touch the factory paint on their roof....does it matter, or is it preference? TIA.

Damn it. I was just looking at it, and there's about a 1 index finger gap between the actual roof, and the spoiler. It doesn't look bad, but when I start to compare it with others, it looks a little off. I wonder if I can take it off and put it back on?
I just put it on a couple of days ago, so maybe the adhesive will give a little? Anyone know if you can replaced the adhesive on the roof spoiler if you take it off? Or should I just leave it as is? ________ Cat Wheel Last edited by HappyG; 05-17-2011 at 02:26 AM.. |

Where can one buy this 3m tape? I know it's super strong, but is there an actual name for the product? Where do they sell it? Thanks fellas...

HappyG, most of them are 3M double sided tape(red one, not the green one).
Heat up the spoiler(not the top, but the bottom where tape is on) with hairdryer, and I mean to really heat it up. tape that long, it'll take a long time to take them off. Start from the side of the spoiler, and work your way out to the other side. Its an easy process, just time consuming.
