Was this someone's kit or did you piece it together? I'm kind of interested.

Do you have a discounted source for the T-stat? Where do you pick yours up for these kits?

Looking to add one to my setup

Same question regarding the tstat. Any other options? Can I purchase separately?? Isn't 160 way to low to open?

The improved racing is 180 on its own: http://www.improvedracing.com/oil-th...tat-p-212.html as an example.

Most oil thermostats begin to open at a certain temp (ex. 160*) but don't actually allow for full flow until a higher number (180* in the case of the Earls unit)

The Earls unit is about $110 on summit racing with free shipping, they always have 10%+ discounts on parts and usually get my stuff to me within 2 days.

Earl's p/n: 501ERL (Just Google it or search for it on eBay)

FYI - I'm very happy with summit when it comes to oil/fluid lines and fittings. Great quality for the price with a warranty. I buy all my stuff there and probably have over 15ft of oil/coolant lines running throughout my engine bay/bumper lol
