Will BBS CF 17" fit? also 210 or 240 Sottozero II?

Hi, this is mostly a question for Gary but I thought others could use this information as well.

I was looking for rims for a set of dedicated winter tires, and was wondering if the BBS CF 17x7.5 rims would clear the brake calipers on an E92 335is?

I see these rims as an option on the website when I configure it to only show rims suitable for the car, but I have never seen anyone post about them, and have only seen Rial Salernos, which I wouldn't mind getting, but was hoping for more options.

Another question I have is regarding the difference between 210 and 240 Sottozero II tires? I see both in 225/45R17. Which one is more noisy, better performance in snow, and which one is wider? What would you recommend for the BBS CF 17x7.5? Do the 240s come in Run-Flats?

Edit: To add to the question, are there any other BBS 17" wheels that will clear the caliper and be suitable for winter duty?

Thank you for your time, I hope to hear back soon so I can order!

Yes, these wheels do indeed clear the brakes and fit with no problem. They are the only BBS wheel in 17" we carry that fits. You don't see as many of these out there as they are about double the price of Rial Salerno wheels.

The Pirelli 210SZ S2 and 240SZ S2 are known for having great handling and steering response for a winter tire, but falling short of the snow and ice traction of most of the other available snow tires. If you're in a light snow area they may be appropriate for you. The difference between the two is in speed rating, with the 240 having a higher speed rating and a bit stiffer sidewall. I would expect little to no difference in snow traction between the two.
