teenagers with 10 dollar burgers

Seriously, what is up with teenagers with 10 dollar burgers. How can they afford such expensive burger. I am hating. Parents who buy their kids 10 dollar burgers should be shot. Those kids are so irresponsible. Dripping ketchups and lettuce everywhere.

Seriously. Have you seen how much lunch money some of these kids get on a daily basis? Some parents give their kids like $20 bucks a day for lunch. Man, I was lucky to get like $5, if that.

I went to a snooty Private School. Lunch was about $7. That included Pizza or a Sandwich. Some sorta side salad, and fried/potatoes. Plus drink. I usually brought my lunch and pocketed the $5 for gas. I would sometimes drive over to Taco Bell and get a burritto. I ended up starting up a landscaping business my Junior Year and started making some $$$. Then I would buy lunch, plus some rims for my ride and other various mods :rocks:

I know exactly what you mean. When i was in school, my dad said..lunch, you don't need lunch.

During the winter time, I'd turn the heater on in the house and my dad would and say put a sweater on!!

Or, he'd turn off all the lights in the house to save a few dollars on electricity. I thought we lived in the stone age for a min. LOL

But in the end, I totally understand where he's comin from. Bills are expensive!!

That's a perfect example of first generation asian immigrant. That's their mentality. Save Save and then save some more.
Until their kids become corrupted by MTV. I tell my parents, "okay you save, I save and the grand kids save. What happens if they
buy their kids a bmw and their kids end up dead driving it."

My father used to tell me horror stories about going to school.

Uphill both ways, 10 feet of snow, no shoes, no shirt. He only had a compass b/c there were no roads, only forest (north carolina) the school was wrapped in camoflauge. He had no arms or legs which made the trip more difficult. And thats not that sad bit...

The school had no toilet paper.

The only good thing out of his childhood was...none of them could afford any food so he didn't have to worry about the lack of toilet paper - and he was THANKFULL.

Whats wrong with kids these days?!

$20 for lunch...whatever, go eat some grass!

Funny...In high school I really didn't eat lunch a lot, but in my case whenever I needed money it was available so it didn't matter what I spent. If I did buy lunch at school though it was at least $5 every day for bad food so I usually didn't bother. I normally don't get hungry in the middle of the day.

Me too. I got free lunch in middle school and the first 2 years of high school. After that I just eat pizza or sandwiches or chips. Senior year i got out at lunch time so I went out to eat with friends (or eat at home).
