i paid $450 with discount

also make sure you buy sound deadening material inside doors, rear deck and other doors as well
look into sound deadning material and videos on your tube. they help very much for create studio type sound inside the cabin

Shipping takes a while. There's quite a bit of them on ali express you just have to search for the ones that specifically say xenon. I don't want to lead someone in the wrong direction.
Heya, I'm interested in some inexpensive replacement lenses too. The previous owner of my lights must have opened them with a heat gun on high, everything was melted and the wrong shape, would not seal, would not stay closed once reassembled with new urethane goop.
I have replacement lights that came with my new car, but I like the look of the older ones with blacked out chrome and LED rings.

Nsjames posted this link to the same exact lenses with reasonable shipping. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/330348...archweb201603_
I would seriously stay away from the heat gun. Maybe you could find it useful but in my case it did nothing. Who knows, maybe different batches of sealant can age differently and need different ways to remove them. If you do need one don't over do it. Some of the threads I've seen on here have been pretty bad with a heat gun. The housing gets completely deformed. Mine look nearly perfect even in the corner. Make sure to post photos of your progress and techniques I'm super interested!

Thanks!
Besides the sealant, what holds the lenses on? is it just those little bumps on the tabs fitting into the slots in the housing?

Yep it's just the tabs on the housing and the sealant. The sealant is crazy strong. If only Bmw used it for oil pan gaskets...

Today my belt tensioner broke, which cause my serpentine belt to shred itself an hour from home... Had no idea there was a problem until a nice bright red battery warning showed up and I lost my power steering Had AAA tow it to a local shop where my wallet became $469 lighter. I suppose it's a cheaper fix than if my engine had eaten the belt and caused all sorts of fun problems. My car is lucky that I love it...

I've been debating on prematurely replacing my belt. It's an 08, ~40k miles and i doubt the PO ever ever change the belt.

It's 12-13 years old. Rubber deteriorates with time, not just mileage. I'd certainly replace it for an inexpensive peace of mind.

Yeah I will probably order one on amazon. I inspected the belt and it looks perfect, but I'll do it anyways. I finally got my DD running right so now if got time to work on the e93 before it gets too hot. Belt, motor mount, ECS rear sway bar, coolant flush and paint correction.

Went for a fun bday drive and canyon run, got welcomed with a transmission code (4F83) on my way back. Reset transmission adaptions to drive it home and so far it's decent. No codes. Slips from and 3-2 and 2-1 now. Going to check the fluid level during quarantine.

Pic doesn't do it justice

Well, I decided to take my personal mechanics advice and plastidip over my peeling driver's side roof moulding. I did three coats. I think it came out ok and was much cheaper than the $150 it would've cost me to buy a new one. It's a win.

A lot of little things.
Painted the speaker grills aluminum to match the trim and removed the foam behind the speaker grill.
Also added the rear tweeters.
Added rear dual charging port...Painted it using rustoleom peel paint.
Finally confirmed the fuel leak/smell I’ve had.
Ordered 4” exhaust tips.
Also BMW door lights and replaced driver side aluminum trim.

Almost have the interior where I want it. Last 2 things left, swap gray dash with black one, but I might just paint the lower half instead of swapping it. Then M tech headliner and that’s it. I may try to paint the front tweeters aluminum later on.

Next step, paint and install m sport side skirts and replace the rear parking sensors.
Pics.

Final mod to the wheel. Silver inserts are now black. Now it's time to install it.
