Cobb vs JB4

Sorry to open another thread about this debate but I was wondering if one stood out more at higher altitude in Denver. Any input would be appreciated.

What about the gas? Cobb aggressive requires 93 octane and all that is really here is 91

Agreed. PTF tune is awesome for our altitude.

Sorry I'm pretty new to the n54. What is the ptf tune with Cobb? And is there a certain tune/map for the e85 mix? And are the other modifications that you have to do with the e85 like a LPFP?

ProTuningFreaks they make custom maps for cobb to get every little bit of power they can. Its really good up here in altitude because cobb maps that come with it are very "safe". if you want to run the aggressive map you can add 3 gal of e85 to give you the octane boost needed to run that. that being said ptf would be able to get you more power on 91 than the aggressive map. your lpfp will be good up to around e30-e40 mix depending on its health i ran it for a good while and upgraded to the inline pump now running e50

What do you have to do to get the PTF tune?

its 250 200 for forum members (i think) they send you a base map depending on your mods and you just do a log send it to them and they adjust it and you do that multiple times until its dialed in

Are there other maps available on the Cobb besides the base ones? Ie ones for higher amounts of e85? Or would you have to do a PTF tuned map?
