2007 sos error no audio please help

Hello, I just joined the forum to get help with this one issue I have. I have a 2007 335i without i drive and I recently got the sos symbol with a line through it error and now I have no audio at all. I just ordered another TCU and it did not fix the problem so now I am not sure what to do next. My car has the extended 100k mile warranty and of course it covers everything except the radio. I really want to avoid taking it to the dealer (I am a college student so I can't exactly afford for them to rip me off right now). Any help would be appreciated. I am pretty handy so diy fixes are fine as well.

If you have logic 7 it could be the amp.
You can bypass the TCU and or satellite module with
a most jumper and if the the sound comes back that
is the defective module.
A new TCU or Satalite module will probably need coding.

I have the "BMW professional" sounds system. is that the same as the logic 7?

There are three different sound systems that are common.

They have almost nothing to do with the head unit which is
the only thing labeled as Professional.

Read the second and third links first.

I believe the 07 335's came with L7 stock.
Most common problem with the amped stereos is the
amp gets wet.Leaks from seals and plugged sunroof drains
usually cause this.
