I think this mod is pretty interesting. Aesthetically, I'm not sure I like it, but I'm definitely impressed with your innovation and creative abilities. Cool stuff!

You should be able to see it in the 1st pic. The light source came from 2 LEDs within the ring.

DIY is already in DIY section (& in 1st page of this thread). The hard part is to find the angel eyes retrofit for the old E39 5 series. I 'm not sure it's available everywhere. But you can always make your own angel eyes if you're challanged enough. I posted the link above (and in DIY section also) on how to make homemade angel eyes.

Lightbulb New guy

Hello everyone I'm upgrading to a 2008 3-series convertible so I guess I'm the new member in this forum.

First off, nice angel eyes on that car 2323 , although I'm not too familiar with european mods, I was wondering if you can tell me where you got your angel eyes from for the headlights and how bright are those (6000k?) Let me know thanks!

Hi Jean, welcome to the forum. Not sure what you mean with headlight angel. Does it come standard on your car? 6000K headlight is still OK I guess. However, some people experience less visibility on the road with this setup.

WTF? Why do the E90's have such better illumination of the angel eyes as compared to the E92's?

BTW; the mod looks amazing. Kind of like the Car has 6 eyes now.
