Socal, Cencal, Norcal
We need to come to some kind of consensus....
How far of a drive is it from Frisco to LA? around 6 hours.... 390 miles How long of a drive is it from Frisco to the Oregon border? around 6 hours... roughly 350 miles It seems as though the Bay Area and due east would be considered Central California? Why do people call in Norcal? because its north of LA/SD? I live in in Arcata. A little over an hour drive south of the Oregon border. Its at least a 5 hour drive to the Bay. So what part of California do I live in? |

That's always struck me as a bit odd too. central is like the general area between the bay and socal. And then it's like they forgot about the whol area north of The Bay so Norcal is used to refer to The Bay + northward.

Because the majority of population in the northern part of the state is from San Fran/Bay Area to Sac area, so it gets called Northern Cali.
You guys are practically just considered Oregon lmao |
