Looking at the the recall notice I've got in front of me, the symptoms are as follows:

*The vehicle central locking system fails sporadically
*It is no longer possible to start the engine
*Flickering of the instrument panel
*Jerking or momentary loss of power from the engine whilst driving

If it's cranking but not starting it can be a fuel pump issue. Be careful though. You don't want your electrics to just go dead in the middle of driving. At best you might be locked in but worse you could be left stranded in a fast lane, crossing a junction or stuck with the windows up and the car on fire. Get it checked.

No, not cranking, it's just has if I had not pushed the clutch fully down.

My 2006 320D has an outstanding recall not sure from how long ago as I only recently bought the car and have had to do loads of work on it but I spoke to the stealer earlier in the week and they said it was to investigate the blower system to see if a resistor or the wiring harness needed replacing.

Hi folks,I have had a recall notice and it is for the blower system resistor to be checked
out concerned about an over heating problem.as of this time the replacement parts are
not in this country but it's best to get in touch with your local dealer, who will in time
call you in,well thats the plan I believe.

This is what we're checking for with regards to the blower QE.
If its like the pictured car you'll get a 'long' repair kit & blower controller. If the wires are discoloured you get a 'short' repair kit and a blower controller. If there's no discolour then it's just a short repair kit!

I had my 35i in for its recall today. They picked the car up at 8.30 & phoned me at 11.30 to say it was done & my car would be returned within the hour, they eventually returned it at 3.45.
They checked the blower motor wiring & connector, repair carried out & no further action required. No mention of the battery cable which I didn't think affected my car although I was told it would be repaired along with the blower motor. I will give it 3 weeks & then check for outstanding recalls.

I had the heater recall letter weeks ago saying they’d be in touch about getting it in. Still nothing! I’ve started thinking there’s something wrong with the blower motor because the speed goes all over the place sometimes when I first start the car. Probably normal but the letters got me paranoid as I don’t want the car to go up in smoke.

Current recalls can be found here: https://www.bmw.co.uk/landingpages/bmw-vehicle-recalls

My cars booked in for both, but not until November due to shortages or parts.

That link seems untrustworthy. it says there are no re-calls for my car, but I have been notified by BMW and main agent about the re-call.

Mine went in for the battery and blower recall nearly 2 weeks ago.
Now my blower is playing up, with no air coming out of my vents.

Could be just down to bad timing or someone has messed up.
