Anyone sell them? It's a loft ventilation system to reduce damp etc.

+1 - I'm currently looking at this for a rental property. I have a mate who's an electrician, he should be able to source. Speaking to him tomorrow, will let you know the outcome.

no - I think the unit can go in the loft and push air into the rooms below through vents.

Why not open the windows? Or have trickle vents on them?

Why not smash the windows?! If your gasping for air. Wrap
a tea towel or cloth around your hand first otherwise you will
end up with scars like mine.

Thought about smashing the windows but then decided it would be safer if I asked the Mrs to do it.

That's not always enough to get rid of condenstation.

This applies positive pressure, so the property is always leaking air (and hopefully condensation). The air in the loft should always be slightly warmer than outside.

Where is the condensation coming from though? Bathroom or kitchen? If so more extraction is needed there.

Bathroom, kitchen, drying clothes, people breathing, temperature difference between outside and inside - all contributues.

PIV effectively does the same as extraction, it's just pushing air out rather than sucking.

That I am mate, that I am.

As a responsible landlord, I have to be!
