Hello. Just bought a motorway hack 2006 330d touring SE Manual.
Nice car. Needs a little bit of TLC on the outside but the interior is really clean for the mileage. Would like to fit bluetooth so I can talk handsfree if anyone offers that service for a reasonable price. |

Hi,
Just a quick introduction to myself and my car. I have an Alpine White 2012 318D M Sport Touring, bought at the start of May. First BMW and pleased with it so far. Few modifications planned but nothing over the top. Looking forward to scouring the forums for tips and advice. |

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and and recently purchased my first BMW secondhand. It's a 2006 E91 320i with iDrive and I love it, so different from my previous vehicles - Audi, VW, MB. There are a couple of issues which with the help I've found on here I've identified and am about to arrange the repair - namely engine oil leak from the EGR vacuum pump. I'm also looking to change the interior trim from silver/aluminium which I find a bit sterile to wood finish, ideally walnut or similar. So if anyone has a set for sale/swap please contact me. Look forward to hearing members and I hope I can contribute to the forum once my feet are under the table. Cheers Chalky (aka Ian) |

HI All
New owner of a 56 plate E92 335D. Came from an E46 M3 but house purchase forced something slightly more sensible. Very happy so far although i have many many questions. I think i will create a post rather than ask them here. One thing i am trying to figure out is the maximum width and offset I can go on standard suspension without any arch mods. I have a set of BBS CH left over from the M3 that would look lovely but they are 19x10 ET20 at the back. The obvious answer would be to try them but they are currently buried somwehere along with the rest of everything i own due to the move lol. Thanks |

Hi folks,
Owned an e46 coupe for years, then upgraded to a '09 Range Rover Sport for a few years there. Recently sold it as I was sick of spending money on it (approx £13-15k in 2 years). Looking at getting a 2003-2005 3 series again for approx £1500-2000 for a while to try and replenish my bank balance as my old one was bullet proof. I will post in a new thread for any advice on what to get/issues to look out for. Cheers |

Hi all. I bought my manual E92 330d about 3 months ago after having my E36 M3 evo stollen from outside my flat. As the carpark is pretty dark and insecure I thought I'd better get something less nickable. This is my 7th BMW so you could call me a bit of a fan boy
I've always loved the looks of the E9x range, especially the coupes so when I got paid out from the insurance company (a very painless experience much to my surprise) I decided now I no longer have a large dog needing a touring I would treat myself to a coupe. I dismissed the 335i because of the turbo issues that seems to plague them so was set on getting a 330i. I once had an E46 330i sport touring and absolutely loved it.I don't usually go out car hunting determined to get the right spec and toys but this time decided I wouldn't settle for povo spec just because I like the colour. I couldn't find one anywhere near where I live within budget so when I came across my 330d I reluctantly decided to go take a look as the price was so good! To get it out the way I don't much care for the colour, Monaco blue, because it only looks nice and blue when it's clean and in direct sunlight but it's not offensive so I can put up with it. The bodywork isn't mint and does have a few dings here and there but I've seen worse. The best bit of this car is the spec and the way it drives and goes! I love it! The original buyer ticked exactly the right options in my opinion, sport suspension, heated electric sport seats, professional idrive and much more, in fact about the only one he didn't tick which would have been nice was lumber support, a bit surprising as he spec'd adjustable bolsters. As a bonus the original ccc idrive has been replaced with the cic system from a later car which is sooooo much better in every way! the other bonus is I found a receipt for a stage 1 remap and DPF removal! It says 231 to 305bhp and I have no doubt it's something like that because it really does shift! I honestly think it's faster than the M3 was and with no effort! Overall I'm really pleased with it and can hand on heart say these E9x's were a big leap forward from the E46's. So far all I've done is remove the swirl flaps replacing the air and pollen filters whilst at it and get the steering lock malfunction light knocked off. I got a local Indi to do the light which cost £30. So thats about it for now. |

Hi all,
Bought myself a black 335i M-Sport 2007 AT about three months back, loving it so far and currently planning to order the JB4 + DCI! This forum has been a great help to me with regards to sorting the exhaust rattle and seat belt assist. Cheers |

Hello all
My name's Kevin, i'm 29 and from Glasgow and i'm on the lookout for an E90 335d - a pre-LCI if that's the right term. I'm looking to upgrade from my Fabia vRS as i need a bigger car now we've had our 2nd child. I'll be doing my homework on the cars and see what to look out for before jumping in. Although they're selling for a fraction of the new cost it's still a lot of money to part with and i'm happy to wait until i find the right car. I'll hopefully be a regular on here and look forward to getting to know the forum. ETA - i've already posted a Hello in this section - oops! |

Hi Guys
Been lurking for a little while now, thought it best I sign up and say hi! Picked up my E90 330D M-Sport LCI around March and I was lucky to get such a good example. I went for the Space Grey with a manual box, didn't get iDrive as it was out of my price range and to be honest, whilst it looks nice, I don't think its nearly as versatile as the Android HU I have since installed. Since owning the car I have done some very minor mods including the rear lip spoiler, matte black kidney grilles, matte carbon fibre dash trim and roof. I will wrap the wing mirrors in the same carbon wrap used on the roof. No engine mods but it will be remapped in a couple of weeks, intercooler will be upgraded later along with the discs and pads. |

Need to do the dash trim again though as the edges around the vent is prone to pull out due to temps. Otherwise it looks pretty good! I just didn't like the silver trim it came with. |
