[Pre-LCI-E90]

Hey guys, I have an E90 without folding seats and I was wondering if I could retrofit some rear folding seats from an F30 since they seem to be cheaper than E90 seats on ebay.

I saw this video where this guy retrofits the seats in but his E90 already has folding seats:

Would it just be a matter of getting the additional E90 hardware to make the seats fold?

Anyone got any further thoughts on this? I want to add folding rears to my LCI and F series seats would be a nice thing

Not to hijack the thread, but what is the concensus on the comfort and quality of the F30 sport leather seats versus the E90 sport leather seats.

I have an E90 with about 130,000 miles and I think the tan leather is holding up well. There is a little wear on the piping and the edge of the door handle, but I think it is quite high quality.

There is a night and day difference between non-sport vinyl and sport leather in the E90.
