Brake sensor bypass??

Wanna get rid of the brake sensor fault code from my dash. Just installed my stoptech BBK and the brake sensors don't connect to them. Any ideas?

If you have the brake light already on, cut the sensors off and connect the two wire together. Thats what I did with my BBKs when i got the brake light on my dash

the light turns on when the sensor is worn and the circuit is broken. Connecting the two wires keeps the circuit closed, thus acting as if the sensor is not worn.

Reviving this thread. Sensors tripped but still have about 10mm brake pads left. I tried cutting the sensor off, tied the two wires together, reset cbs for front brakes, I see the reset clock, but it doesnt reset and both rear and front sensors have '---'. I still have the car on lift sign and change pad red warning.

Update for those you might need it, ended up being one of the wire on the connector (not the pad sensor, but the connector on which the pad sensor connects to) was cut off. I ended up cutting of the connector and connecting the 2 wires together. The reset didnt work, but after a short drive, reset worked.
