Fog lamp

Guys, is this fog lamp cover a stock fit or it goes according to models ?

- can i just remove the cover and just leave the fog lamp without this cover ?
- or does this model have to retain its cover, so that the fog lamp is not exposed
- if it can be removed, any ideas on how i do it, i dont see any screws.

That's the base model E90 foglight. It's screwed into the bumper from the back side. You have to remove the wheel and front fender liner to get to it.

I've not seen replacement covers. The lights modules are about $80 last I looked. I replaced mine about 4 years ago. They were sand blasted beyond repair.

An E90 fog lamp (housing) will not fit an E92 and vice versa. It is a protective cover by all intents. You can say you don't need the cover.. Until you do which would probably be too late.

Alright, thanks for the info. I have to change the whole fog lamp then ! The covers gone yellow, or delete it if there are options.

Have you tried doing a wet sand and polish?

Headlight cover is ruined, one of it leaks moisture and has some marks on it, guess i have to go for new covers. Do they have genuine covers or is it aftermarket only…

I may be misunderstanding what you are asking since you posted entire housings, not covers, but you can only purchase the OE headlamps or fog lights as an entire unit. All lenses are aftermarket.

The fog lights are pretty cheap, though, like $65 each for PKW or Hella. Headlights are ridiculously expensive for what they are.

Ok. There arent genuine covers, it comes as a unit, i get it.

I did take a look at amazon for the fogs, not bad compared to the insanely priced headlights. Thanks.

If you’re asking about the headlights too, they look ok.
You can use a headlight restoration kit.

The fog lights can be replaced. Here’s some options.

Personally, I’d buy the name brands for the small difference in price.
