E90 18 Wheels Question
Hello guys. I am pretty new to this, so take in fact that I am a bit newbie .
A couple of years ago I bought a 2005 e90 pre lci. I always had ideas to change the car appearance but never actually implemented them. Right now I am in need to change tyres so I wanted to take the opportunity to change wheels aswell since I hate the OEM 16x7 ET34 style 156 look it currently has. I was thinking in changing to 18 Wheels, and my car already can legally wear front tires 225/40 R18 and rear tires 255/35 R18. I found wheels that I really enjoy but I am not sure if they will fit properly since the OEM 18 wheels BMW uses have 8.5 width and ET37 in rear side. The wheels dimensions I am looking to get are: Front - 18x8 ET34 Rear - 18x8.5 ET34 (Platin P70) My question is if the offsets will be compatible without tires rubbing and wont make the rear too wide and illegal and the fact that if I am using ET34 in rearside with 8.5 width wheels will affect significantly anything in terms of normal driving. English is not my native language, so I apologize in advance if it gets hard to understand. |

I have 255/35 rear tires on 18*8.5 wheels with a 35 offset on a pre lci e91.
They fit fine. see here for a pretty comprehensive guide to fitting wheels. https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide |

Sounds like they will fit just fine dude. If you're on OEM suspension it will give you more arch gap. You shouldn't rub either if the car is offered up in those wheel sizes you mentioned. If anything you might look at it, catch the bug and chuck some lowering springs on her!
