Shop to Paint Hubs and Brake Calipers - DC Metro

Anyone in the DC Metro area able to resurface / paint hubs and brake calipers? I would do it myself but I am lacking the tools and garage to do the work. Willing to pay for labor and materials. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

*****EDIT: Finally had some time to paint the front hubs and calipers. Finishing up the rear next weekend. I'll take some pictures with the wheels mounted. Here are some pics off my phone:*****

Might try Ye Old Wheel Shop (although located in Md). I hear they do great work. Let me know if you end up going there or find someone else. I've been meaning to get mine done as well!

all you need are tools to take your wheels off and there are caliper paint kits that come with everything you need. pretty easy stuff

I am sure it can be done at next GTG at Clem's garage. PM Clem see if he can do it.

I have limited space in my apartment complex's parking garage. The rust is really caked on there. I have taken as much off with a wire brush but I'm going to need a drill or dremel with wire brush attachment to get the rest off. I've looked into the G2 paint kits and the dry time of the paint mixture is about 4-6 hours. If I do each wheel individually while incorporating cure time, the mixture will be dry before I get a chance to finish. I'm pretty slow as it comes to paint work and I would like a place where I can jack up the whole car or throw it on a lift and have all the wheels off so I don't have to worry about cure time and rushing the job.

I did 3-4 coats on the front calipers and hubs with plenty left over. You should be good to do front and rear if you have the car on a lift. I had to buy 2 kits since I split the work over 2 weekends.

Just search for G2 Paint Kit. You'll get a ton of hits. Cheapest I found was on eBay with free shipping too. Hope that helps.

Correct, you can keep them on. You just need a steady hand and a little patience.
