That doesn't add height. That's just the shape of the sidewall. If you look at tire rack, the revolutions per mile are 833 vs 832 for a PSS in the 255/35 size (PSS aren't available in your size but for comparisons sake it doesn't matter). So, these are no taller than other tires, the large aspect ratio combined with the rounded sidewall may appear as though they are, however they are not.

Hi there. I previously gave up on these as replacements for my Contis, since they didn't make 255/30/19 or 265/30/19, which are what I've used in the past on the OEM Style 230 rims.

Do you have any pics of how these 275/30/19 tires fit your rims? Are you on stock(sport?) suspension still? Any rubbing?

Thanks!

I put a set of 4x Indy 500's on my 2011 328i E92 M-Sport about ~400 miles ago. I'm in Los Angeles so need neither winter nor particularly rain-ready tires. I had stock runflats on before. My needs are daily driver + weekend blasts up in the Angeles Crest mountain roads.

* 225/40R18 front
* 255/35R18 rear

Observations so far:
* _extremely_ grippy
* fantastic increase in road feel. as a driver, i have a _much_ better connection to the road now
* slightly elevated road noise compared to stock runflats
* slightly elevated tramlining on LA's rough roads while braking compared to stock runflats
* my knowledge/feel of when and where the car is likely to break out when cornering is greatly increased.

Overall:
* these are great tires and i would recommend them with no reservations. very happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the pics beastmode and Joey. They don't look any wider than the 265mm Hankooks I've had in the past.

These tires aren't "sucking" enough, since apparently they're on national back order according to my local Firestone shop.

Update... have a few thousand miles on them and they are great. Very grippy, great road feel, and good in the rain. Big fan of these tires

I installed 2 of these a couple k miles ago to replace my rears and they've been great. They seem to be holding up well also!

The question is for the E92 guys
with not having 265/30/19s as an option... will the fenders need rolling using the 275s with a stantard 35et?

Another bump... have ~10k on these and they still perform very well. I now notice that if I drive super aggressively I can get traction control to kick in when turning out into a street, but these still perform great even in the rain.

Definitely do not regret this purchase, I just wonder what tire I'll get next!

I've got these on the front of my drift car. Super sticky, great manners on the road. Not quite the grip of he RE-71R's that I had on there before, but these are serious contenders for when I need to replace the summer set on my 335. I don't have any experience with them in the rain though, so if they don't perform near to the Michelins I have on already, I'll have to pass. I need fantastic wet road manners.

I've been impressed with them in the rain. I certainly rate them better than the stock runflats, but as this is the only other tire I've run on my 335i I don't have much to compare them to.
