You can add 1/16" on the H just to make sure supporting by the top surface of the rectangular and not the top surface of the round base.

Nice drawing.
I made mine too, out of 3" aluminum round stock that you can pick up from Mississauga Steelmart (ask for an offcut). My sizes are 30mm X 54mm X 15mm with the base being 1/4" thick as I wanted to make it as low profile as possible. I'm sure you can make out of bar stock as well, the round base is not necessary as long as you have a flat bottom. |

Whats the point of the adapter? I have had my car in the air 4 or 5 times now. I use the crappy tire aluminum racing jack and put a 5x5" peice of wood on the on the jack pad.

5"X5" ? ^ nice interior btw. I barely have 4 1/2" after I installed the coilovers, I still have to drive onto planks to get the jack to fit (I need a low profile 3 1/2" jack) But yes, before the adapter, I just used a 1/8X4X4 aluminum plate between the jack pad and the plastic jack point.

Sorry I should have made it mode clear, the dimensions are 5"x5"x3/4". So basically a square that is 3/4" thick |

Guess what guys. I picked up this Toyota jack at the garage sale for one mighty dollar. I was going to make adaptor to fit my car following dimensions from previous posts but guess what. Upper swivel attachment is 2.05"x1.25"x0.86". I haven't try it yet but it looks like it is going to fit nicely. And look how low it goes.... Can't beat the price too. And working load is 700KG.

I asked how much it was going to cost if I wanted to order more. It will be about $25 depending on the quantity. Also the thickness is now .25" not .5"
