Headlight Swap (not halogen to xenon)

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=403726 Tomorrow I'm going to get my old xenon headlight replaced by another one that hopefully is in better condition. Searching, all I could find was halogen to xenon stuff, so would this by a similar job? I'm looking for anything like a DIY guide or at least some tips that I can take to the mechanic. He's good with BMW's and said it shouldn't be a problem, but idk if he's done this before so anything that could help would be appreciated.
