Hi Marc,

I recently bought a set of your H8s for my 08 e93 m3 and love them!

I understand the difference between this new version and my version - in terms of everything concealed inside the headlamp now etc.

I don't actually mind the power supply being tucked outside the headlight housing - and it appears you are using the same bulbs. So can you please advise whether cosmetically, there is any difference between the new version and the version I have, in terms of how the light is distributed/even-ess etc.

The biggest difference is the power supply and the ability to keep them inside the headlight. The aluminum heatsink has been modified to make installation a bit easier, but it does not change the light distribution. I hope that answers your question

It actually doesnt matter which version you have. this is only recommended for users that have the full wiring harness kit, or the kit with the power supply outside of the headlight. upgrades are scheduled to ship out after 3/1/11
