Folks,

I need a good body shop or an independent painter that can help me out. I just came back from the BMW dealer and they are asking for $1300.00 and 4 days to keep my car for this little damage on the clear coat:

They are saying they need to take the two passenger doors out, sand them down and paint both doors. I am REALLY not liking this...

Any suggestions?

i dunno about price, but I saw some crazy work from the guys at "the werk shop" they are by lake bluff, and have some rare bmw's. They specialize in bmws too

westmont body werks......... in westmont kinda pricey but theyll get the job done. they have a lifetime warranty on the paint. im not sure whats included and not but when i talked to the guy he seems very confident that the paint would hold up without damage. they seemed like the kinda of place that will do whats right to fix it.

A&L is kind of pricey. Bmw of Westmont sends their cars to Westmont Body Werkz. Amazing work

That would be awesome. I am not stingy when it comes to quality work, but the back home in Bulgaria, for $1300.00, I can get 5 cars painted by a private painter and probably get a blowjob from the painter's daughter. LOL
