Cheers, was hoping to see an E90 - Im a noob when it comes to wheels so want to know if I can replace my stock 17" with 19" without having to do suspension changes (drop) to stop it looking like an offroader!

I'm still waiting for my replacement wheels to turn up. Matt pm'd me to tell me they had been despatched and I had planned to pick them up at Heathrow, but I've not had any explanation as to how I am meant to know when they arrive nor where I need to go to collect them, I've pmd Matt twice now on this but not heard anything. I am now away and on holiday until the 19th of July so let's hope that a) they arrive ok b) that they don't get returned in the meantime and c) that they aren't damaged whilst they sit in a warehouse...

had a wheel refurb guy, who has done my wheels before, take a look at them.
He cant do anything as the lip is bent outwards and according to him would need heating and bending back into shape. Taking them to my tyre place tommorow to stick them on their balancer to give them a spin and see if they are buckled |

Where are you based Jimmy - my tyre fitter suggested getting my first ones repaired - he reckons he knows a place near Stoke-on-Trent that put them on sort of machine and 'roller' the dent out? Not sure how good that would be? |

On my way home tonight a guy pulled alongside me at the lights and wound his window down.
"Awesome wheels mate, where did you get 'em from?" 15 mins later he wished he'd never asked |

Sent the photos of the damage to Lepsons, they estimate a repair cost of £53 +vat per wheel but they cant guarantee that once they have been re-powdercoated and laquered that they will match the two undamaged rims
So i'm guessing I would need to have all four done, even though two are fine |

Our get one done and see how it turns out, if not ok, they must then be able to match the repaired one? |

I'm looking at £50-£70 each way as Lepsons are miles away from me I've asked AluFelgen to honour their offer of FOC replacments, shipped at my cost, as even though it will cost approx $300, its cheaper than getting the two damaged wheels back to perfect. After paying out the best part of £1000, I dont want mismatched finishes |

I have now finally got my third set of front wheels from Alufelgen and these (touch wood) look OK - I have just popped them round next door to my fitters who will give them a good look over and pop them on the car once he is happy with them
I also have 10 sets of M badges so if any of you have not obtained a set yet and are waiting for some, if you PM me your addresses I will send some out in the post to you. |

Anybody got any idea what 8.5 x 19's will fit - all with offset ET15 At least if I invest £250ish getting them refurbed I 'may' make enough to cover my DHL cost |

You might get £25 a wheel if you weigh them in. |

To be honest, I am just gonna keep the 2 with damaged paint, in case I ever damage one of the good ones. I always have them there in case of a kerbed or pot-holed wheel then.
