Someone else will know better but the module needs to disconnected or fuse pulled for the module to achieve what you want. No cons in unplugging module

I want to temporarily disable the amble light and stop the module for resetting.

My questions are:
1) Do I have to unplug the RDC module?
2) Can I just code out the VO and in KOMBI, and that will disable the amble light and stop the module for resetting without unplugging the RDC module?
3) What is the cons of not unplugging the module? will it get messed up for the next few months?

I appreciate any knowledge on this!
You have to unplug the module if you want that light off. No way around it that I know of. Unplug it, remove $2VB from your VO, and default code the KOMBI, DSC, CIC (if you have it). The coding part takes 5 minutes and easily reversible when you decide to go back to TPMS.

can I just say you can buy a set of 4 autel sensors and a USB gadget to code them to the one you car uses for $150

on the bikes they have ability for two sets of sensors (summer / winter tyres)

having TPMS is very helpful, you could even turn on tyre temp in the cluster as another toy (BT TPMS always transmitted both temp and pressure back to the car. I have it on the bikes. If BM weren't totally stupid they could even wind back the power output for cold temps automatically)

Yes. You still have to follow this step by step.

Does anyone have instructions or video link how to get to this tpms RDC module? He is showing where it is located which is good but I’m trying to remove all necessary trim items, seats and looks like back wall separation from the trunk. My car don’t have ski access to the trunk but it is 2/2007 335i E93
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
