The problem with comparing different pictures is that there's different amount of natural light, different exposure settings and different white balance in each picture, making the comparison kinda void. The only true way to compare is side by side or with a light meter in a darkroom.

I am deciding on purchasing the LUX H8 V3 or the AiB 4.0 and I have a 2009 E92. I was told that because of the placement of the H8 AE in the e92 headlight housing, the light output will be noticeably reduced than the E90 counterparts.
So comparing between E90 and E92 with Lux V3 or AiB 4.0, which one would have the most brightest output for me? I am currently on GP Thunder 8500K V2 that I got on eBay and while they are great for the price, the outer ring still needs some help. Thanks |

My passenger side headlamp broke on my 2007 335i while driving 50mph over a nasty pot hole in North Houston. To replace it costs about $1000. I'm interested in replacing both with OSS Design lights BUT I can't seem to know how to get my hands on them since the website (sales@ossdesigns.net) is not really useful. Does anyone know how I can get my hands on them??

angel I brights V3 burning out
Hi again on this topic. I purchased AIB in March from custom angel eyes.com right out the box I had to deal with on side not working, so the cent me a replacement LED unit. Comparing the condition of the replacement unit to the original two, I believe they had sent me a refurbished set. But moving on...several times I've gotten the check lights warning because the original unit would somtimes not come on. But that hasent happened for a while. After a 5 hour road trip the light displayed again and surely enough it was the original unit. When I took it I noticed the connector for the LED is all burnt up. I cleaned off some of the debris and the LED seems to be comming on again. But I'm worried that maybe I shouldn't put these back in my car, with the burn damage. Will EAS honour the warrenty on the product since they've taken over custom ageleyes AIB operation?

Ok. I have an 07 335 E90. My next purchase will either be a set of blacklines or replacement angel eyes. I am leaning towards either lux or mtech if I go the AE rout. My question to those of you who have already replaced the AE's is; how are they at night? Im pretty blown away by the amount of light put out by the OEM Xenon lights at night ( just don't dig the yellow hue during the day).
Do the LED's perform as well as the OEM's at night or are they strictly a daytime cosmetic improvement that you will have to give up functionality for? Thanks. |

2011 328ii sedan lci - xenon adaptive (e90)
greetings gents
any advice regarding a better upgrade other than the gp thunder for a 2011 328i sedan lci w/ xenon would be greatly appreciated (gp thunder improved the yellowish look a bit ... could be better dough) i am bringing up this question since most people own either a pre lci e90 or e92, e93) the LUX H8 ($245 & shipping - 1 year warranty) or City Vision ($179.95 - lifetime warranty) thank you for your time |
