Question '07 320i Spare Wheel & Tyre

Probably a very repetitive post, but this specific situation is unique as far as my scrolling shows.

I am looking at getting rid of my run-flats due to the price and the fact that they are basically useless for me living in a very rural and remote area of Australia where the '80km @ 80km/hr' will get me no where close to a tyre repair shop.

I have been looking for about a day for an idea of a spare wheel; ringing up wreckers, looking at internet shops, but have not had any luck with finding a setup that actually sounds like it will work.

The wreckers I have rang all denied selling me a wheel (even without the tyre) and the places I have looked online don't have the right wheels anyway.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone in a similar situation to me?
Thankyou for your help, and let me know if you need any additional info.

Cheers!
Dechlan (oStreamZo)

P.S. - I am willing to sacrifice my boot space for this spare wheel, so a 'space-saver' wheel would be great, but a full sized wheel is also fine with my needs.

Why did they deny selling you a used wheel? Are they not allowed to sell them?

The e60 5 series spare is a good one to have.
Slim and doesn’t take up much boot space. Just need to carry a jack and 17mm with you.

I don't really know. I know of other people with other models of cars that have bought spare wheels from wreckers before. They would all just straight deny the idea and hung up on me.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try and find an e60 5 series spare online. Is there any suggestions of where to go looking to begin with?

That’s weird!

I would start looking on eBay.

What style are your wheels? Oem?
I have some oem wheels. I could sell you a full size wheel if I have the same one as you.

I just bought a spare rim, jack, wrench from eBay. The rim was $95. All I need is a tyre and some kind of strap to hold it down in the trunk. I know it'll kill my trunk space, but I replaced my run flats with regular Good Years.

Garage List
I've been driving with non-runflats and no spare for almost two years.

Probably not the best plan
I'll look at the E60 spare
