1/2 mile suspension set up
So I will be attacking my first 1/2 mile race in Ocala, FL come January 20th. What should I do with the suspension of the vehicle?
2011 e90 n55 sedan automatic. I am FBO, PS2, FPS2, Helix Overdrive (To be installed in 2 weeks), 100% e85 (in 2 weeks) and MHD tuned by Ken. Any advice would be helpful. Last edited by winjury; 09-27-2019 at 03:09 PM.. |

Hey winjury I see two replies here, and here is another one.
If you want to set up your suspension for racing, check out the suspension subforum, and maybe do some research. Just asking "what should I do" isn't going to get you very far. If you want someone else to just tell you what to install, call a racing shop and they will be happy to sell you a bunch of stuff. |

Is there hard braking involved (run out 1/4 mile...stop..turn around...run back 1/4 mile)?? Is there turning involved? More info is needed in order to give you some suspension advice.

You're full E85 on injectors? Never heard of that, you need port injection to do that or you're going to run into some issues to say the least. You should check with the F30 forum because they have way more N55s over there.

One question though- 38psi in tires seems high. Is this what everyone recommends? |
