Selling a N52 Euro Airbox - Bought new from ECS (~$550) this was installed on my 06 330xi for less than a year, before the car was totaled from a rear collision (Driver wasnt paying attention and smashed into me while i was stopped at a red light).

Was happy with it, while i had it. Whether or not it provides any actual gains, I dont know, but it added to more spirited driving characteristics, IMO.

No flaws or cracked/broken mounting tabs - only some general wear scratches, probably from install/removal. Was used for less than a year (~4k mi) As so, I've tried to price accordingly.

If you have ever tried to replace your stock air filter on your N52, you'll be all too familiar with the lengthy process of removing the airbox to simply check on your air filter. BMW offered a solution to this in the European market, with this top-loading style airbox. Simply remove the top panel and you have easy access to your air filter.

Further advantages over conventional airboxes include a less restrictive system: American market airboxes use a panel filter in conjunction with a secondary filter/muffler that greatly impedes airflow. Utilizes a cylindrical type air filter instead of a flat panel filter.

Includes OEM European air filter. Use genuine air filter replacement ES#2143025 when needed, or upgrade to a K&N or Pipercross performance air filter.

Note: N52 airboxes come with integrated mass airflow sensors. American market airboxes use a larger, 5 pin mass airflow sensor instead of the 2 pin European connector. You will be reusing your MAF sensor if you have an American market car.
