STORAGE

Recently bought a 2010 E90, it has full Black Dakota leather and other extras like rain sensor , xenons etc. My problem is in the rear there is absolutely no storage for even a magazine or mobile phone, let alone a cup holder. I dont even have nets behind the front seats. Having 2 boys , when we go on trips this proves to be very annoying. Whats the best solution aftermarket or oem to add some cupholders or storage compartments? Very mean of BMW not to add anything whatsoever.

Cup holders are in the folding arm rest, as for nets u would hav to get them from a pre-lci car

Nets available here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006RCW34G...v_ov_lig_dp_it

Edit: Actually, this is for storage on the carpet of the trans tunnel. To get the nets for the seat back you have to buy a used seatback from a pre-LCI and swap out.

If you have a Fold-down center armrest between the two rear passenger seat-back upholstery, rotate that down and press the forward end. The end panel should rotate and cup holders (2 together) spring out. Unless LCI actually meant Low-Cost-Initiative, yours should be there.

Black should be the easiest color to find. And that is probably the reason why, i believe all the US if not all the NA cars hav cupholders in the rear armrest

What's in the center after pulling down the arm rest? Can you pull it down? Looks like a handle.
