Also congrats on the 1000hp 100oct build. Very nicely done, I would of liked to have seen you guys get the duel setup tuned.
We are going to try the staged system again when we get more time. Thank you though!

If you decide to make a piggyback/flash tune (which I'm certain will be the case) can you please make sure to test it under road race conditions. Currently the N54 has been notorious for getting limp modes when the car is under track conditions with an ecu-tune. I can't stress how disappointing it is to be on the track and get a limp mode. If you can get an all around daily driver like tune that is still able to be tracked without issue you have yourself a new customer. Like many of the guys on here, I've seen your work in the DSM world and it shows when you go the extra mile to make quality products. Congrats and welcome to the BMW world

eric I've seen your products first hand from one of your customers Chris from P'cola, Fl with the black evo. That car was a beast. Can't wait to see some products coming out for us.

The majority of this was not the tune, it was limp mode due to insufficient oil cooling.

i would have no objection to a single 3" exhaust terminating w/ a single can out back cocked on an angle - w/ a 328 rear valence... of course - the gt35 has to come first

add a lil jdm style lol

oh god, no jdm style please, not to this car.

however, an m3 style quad exhaust might be nice, esp coupled with an m3 replica rear bumper...though i don't know how much demand there would be for that.

Not to worry. We road race very often, In fact we have a dedicated road racing team sponsored by NOS energy drinks so EVERYTHING we make is made to withstand whatever road racing can throw at it. For example our Time attack EVO VIII makes over 600 whp and is in its third year of racing on the same AMS Engine

I think we are going to stick to a more classic European theme to the parts we make. the car has such unique styling that we want to enhance it and not change it. Our 3" system will split at the end and allow for two independent tips just like the factory

Here's another vote for a tune... I would like to see what you guys can do being local to me. I have lots of respect for your work on the EVO's I see running around my town (especially the group that all fill up with race gas on Friday nights to go out playing).

Well Justin has a good portion of the downpipes mocked up and even the first part of the catback. IT looks SICK! I will post pictures in a few minutes. its starting to look like an AMS part though

Here are some rough prototype pics we have. Keep in mind this might not represent the actual system we make. This is more of a one off piece so we can test the power difference (if any) between a single 3" system that split off into two tips or a true dual 2.5" system.

We should have a completed test system before the end of the week.

In any event you can see the gears turning

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. This is a taste of things to come for the N54 guys. It yet again represents what our capabilities are here at AMS.

Below is a video of how we make our CNC cylinder heads for the evo 8-10:

It's great to see you guys venturing into the BMW world. Both Martin and Chris @ AMS have tuned my evos I used to have and are great people. I'm currently looking to trade in my E46 M3 for a 335i, and this makes me even more excited about it.

^ not possible on stock turbo.
With an upgraded turbo system, it definitely is possible.
