It was mentioned a few pages earlier some people fitting the Ecotune DPF delete pipe and the ECU flash.

How was the overall process and the result? Some discontent about this product in the North American market with the fitment and the flash creating problems.

Hi Ken, turns out a dpf delete from ecotune plus a flash is faster than a BMW performance power kit at a third of the cost plus some sick exhaust notes and light smoke on hard acceleration

Thanks Trev88.

Anyone have experience doing it themselves?
Have read that the pipe does not fit correctly? Is this with OEM exhaust?

Rubes did it. If you have the right tools he said it's pretty quick. Fits perfectly for him

Hey man, fits like a glove. Oem exhaust will fit, the pipe comes with pretty much the same flexijoint that the exhaust clamps to. I've had other issues with the car affecting its performance, but when everything's in check it kicks like a bull.

Thank you Rubes.

Great positive feedback and an economical upgrade given the current exchange rate.

Rubes or anyone who has done the Ecotune DPF option:

Did you go with the sports cat option or no cat?

No cat! Nothing makes you feel more like a farmer than the raw lung piercing smell of diesel fumes.

Also just cause less restriction.

Go sports cat if you don't want the smell. TBH it doesn't smell as bad as I thought but if u want the luxury feel still go for the sports cat. If I were you would get it done asap since it's not illegal where you're at Rubes car flies

2010 is N57 engine right? Im selling my 2012 330d, I had a DTUK piggy back kit on it that made a world of difference. If you are interested you can buy it on the cheap. Cost me about $600 AUD after buying from UK and shipping out. No one else is going to buy it!

Used it for a year and a bit with no issues. If you are interested, let me know

Hi All,

I have a 330d E92 LCI 2012.

I have purchased the JBD piggyback tuner but I am unable to find an install guide for the 330d.

Has anyone installed one and could take a picture so I am able to determine which plug I am meant to connect it too?

I have attached a picture of which plug i think it is but I am not 100% sure.

Thank you,

Michael
