Engine Checks
I thought while everything was quiet and I was stuck at home, I would check my spark plugs and do a compression check on the engine. The replacement engine has done 5,000 kms since being installed. The spark plugs all looked ok. I didn't warm up the engine before doing the compression check like you suppose to. However, cylinders 1 to 5 where all the same at 120 while cylinder 6 was 112 which is still within 10% but something to keep an eye on.

Do you have some basic steps on how to do a compression test using the toolpro equipment from scheap ?
As understood you crank the engine a few times to rise the dials on the gauge? |

Make sure its got a 12mm X 1.25 thread.
I just bought a kit and it didnt have the 12mm. Tried a few shops today and its not something you can buy from enzed or air supply shops etc. |
