No sound from radio/have power

Yesterday the sound from my radio stop working then it came back and now its gone again. All this happen with in a day. Search it on the forum and it appears that it has some thing to do with the satellite box. There is also no chimes etc.. My Nav works but no reply/sound when trying to use the command button for blue tooth or anything else. I checked all the fuses no blown fuse. Whats confusing is it works sometimes. Can some one point me in the right direction. My car is a 2013 328i coupe no I-drive. Its has the little round knob by the shiftier.

Things I done already.

Disconnect the battery wait 5 minutes.
Checked all the wire connection on the radio, the amp and satellite box.

HELP???

There are ton's of no sound thread here.
Try going to advanced search and putting sound in the search
box then limit the search to this sub forum.

You need to identify not just the type of Head Unit but the
type of sound system you have .

Pro Radio or Idrive
Base system no amp
Hi Fi system 6 channel analog amp
Top Hi Fi or Logic 7 9 channels digital optic input.

If your battery is low the IBS system can turn off power to things
it deems unnecessary to keep the car running.
That is why always the first check you want to do when approaching
any problem on these cars is verify you have a good battery.

Water on the amplifier if you have on is a common cause of loss of sound.
