Here is one of my latest pulls with draggy. If I can get my 60ft. down to a 1.8 or even a 1.9 this would be a high 11 second pull. But RWD and DCT on street tires makes it hard. Nonetheless happy with the trap speed of 120+

Nice! Best I could do at the track with my DCT was 12 flat. I have new turbos so I can't wait to see what they will pull.

What is your method for launching?

I would turn off all traction and ease into it.

DCT is notorious for being hard to launch.

Your mph is great, mid 11s should be attainable with a good launch.

It did not help my 60 foot or my launches. Also i never have wheel hop since its an automatic so it might help a manual, not sure.
What kind of noises?

And I assume it would only help with manuals.

In that picture I used the stock 5K launch control. I compared LC vs. clutch drop with all nannies off and LC seems to give the best and consistent times. On the drag strip LC is useless. But this was done on street pavement.

well the best way i can describe the noise is if your downpipes are touching the body and it transfers some of the vibration or if your exhaust is hitting the body. You wont hear it over 4000rpm but 3rd and 4th gear around 2-3k it is really noticeable. If you put some sort of rubber dampeners in between the body and the kit it might get rid of some of the noise.

Ahhhhh ok. So it's just vibrations really rather than diff related?

Might as well just install it at the strip then if it causes noise, should take 15 mins and I would already have a jack to install my radials.

nothing to do with the diff, but its metal on metal so it transfers noise inside the cabin, if you are WOT you wont hear it, but at cruising speeds, or on the highway if you are in 4th 5th or 6th around 2-3k rpm it is definitely noticeable.

Looks nicer and fancier but for that price compared to the Burger one I think I'll just get burger and remove it when not at the strip.

Seems like he sells choice of plates or the bushing type thing?

You get what you pay for. I've seen posts of the burger welds braking.
Vwetish you can leave on once installed.

Oh I figured burger product would be higher quality than someone on the forum. I didn't know they had welds brake.

EDIT: The burger piece isn't welded, it's a one piece. Not sure how "welds" are braking?

"Probably similar. Ours is a one piece design with no welding for longer life."

You're right! I haven't checked in a long time. Guess they got smart.

So I'm looking into rear tires for my car and want tires to match up as close as possible to my stock size of 255/35/18. This is not my daily driver and want maximum traction for strip and street. I really want Mickey Thompson S/S ET tires or Nitto NT05R, but don't come anywhere in the size I am looking for. I had toyo R888R's, and although they hooked not too bad, they had a very stiff sidewall and noisy. Ive came up with either Bridgestone RE-71R(255/35/18) or Nitto NT01(245/40/18). Just wondering if I could get some input of these two tires, would the NT01's be ok even though they are 245's, or another tire which would compare. Thanks!

I'm using my PS4's for street and strip still but I want to get slicks and extra set of wheels for the track. I think this route will be better in the long run. Track wheels can look like shit for all I care.

Sorry haven't tried ether or those tires.

why limit yourself to a 255 if it is not your daily driver ? go as wide as you can
get a cheap 17 with a et40 and you should be able to fit 275 without problems

i have 275/40/17 mt et ss and they hook great in 2nd with no wheel spin. Approximately 480 whp 560 wtq

Because of the offset of my rims, 255's once and a while scrub my wheel well when I go over big bumps. So not looking to go any wider. As well I really don't want to get into switching rims, but maybe I should.

if youre trying to use them daily and get the most traction without changing width, get some mt ss or nitto nt555r drag radials if you want them to last a little longer
