it's a LED, most likely it'll throw an error code unless you play around with resistors

Anyone know if the PIAA TERA LED for H8 and H11 (http://www.car-gym.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1233) will replace the fog or headlight bulbs of the e90 without any errors showing up on the system?

you will get an error - they dont draw enough power

no error message I get use 10day... beautiful color don't worry but not hi power. if OEM light power 100, PIAA LED 70 ... it is just sample

Would be nice if someone else can confirm this. As I understand, LED will draw less power and result in 'bulb out' error unless additional parts are installed to 'fool' the sensors.

my friend just installed these in his car... let me tell you...

They are CRAP!!!

they do not even project enough light to be seen more then 2 feet away from the car

Do NOT Get these

also - There is no way that a 3 LED setup that small can be bright - Trust me - I Know LED's !!

Go to superluminations.com. They have some LED H11. Yeah they don't project much but they look good on to match those like me who changed their D1s to higher kalvins. I don't think the fog lights were any effective with the already bright HIDs. The site even says it is for show not brightness but it is better than the PIAA and even cheaper.
