PPF with Venture Shield (w/detail)
My car is fairly new, when the dealer got my car I asked them not to detail it.
I did the European Delivery so the car was slightly used already. So I was planning to put the PPF on my car but before that I wanted it first to get detailed. It was crazy even though the car was still new when it was claybared there were plenty of contaminants. Some pics... |

Looks good, and congrats on the ride! Cars pick up a LOT of contamination during the shipping process, whether you do ED or not. So it's certainly not abnormal to see lots of junk on your clay bar when detailing a brand new car. Looks like you did the best things possible when you got her home though.

I got someone to do it.
For small pieces its not that bad, such as headlights, fog lights side mirrors. Fender may not be that bad. But for the full hood and bumper thats another story. I would not DIY. Check in Youtube I am sure you will find some videos. Some guys makes it look easy though.
