Hi guys,
I did mine today. I called Richard today and went for the tint. Excelent job; Dany the second on board did a great job. I highly recommend Thornhill Tint shop.

I think i saw them working on your car, I had mine done yesterday as well! Very happy with the work, I went for 32% sungard... here are the pics

Oh and you guys might be interested to know that they will do vinyl black outs of the aluminum trim around the windows (I asked). I may do that at some point, but im undecided...

Just got back from tinting. Can't say enough good things about Richard, great guy. Even gave me a lift to grab some lunch (he was going somewhere anyway, but still...)

Here are a couple crappy pics. I got 20% all around. Next up: New wheels!

Just got my car tinted here, Richard is a good guy. I highly recommend this place, they were very honest and did a great job!!

Just did 32% there. Good work - even dot matrix looks clean. 32% seems to be a perfect balance of comfort and safety

lol i was thinking of making a thread about good tints shop in Toronto. Cause my friends already got a quote from some guy named Richard who tints allot of bmw's. LoL im guessing it was you.

Check out Auto-Links (John) , pretty good guy! Just started a couple years back and is pretty well known on the subaru and mazda boards. Give him a call 416-751-8883. Let him know your Bensons friend and he'll give you the "Group Buy" prices .

Richard is a great guy and does great work. He did my first car like 10 years ago. However, I now prefer Jeff @ Audio Heaven since he has better prices and the quality is amazing. Just got 20% all around done recently and he did the padding on the door sill (if you don't and leave the plastic bare, your tint might scratch over time as you open/close your window). If you go there, tell him Amar (from TCC who use to own JDM Warehouse) sent you and I'm sure he will give you a great deal.

Richard is very good, and if you do have any issue with your tint, he will take care of you.

Richard and co. also does the paddings on the doors. He told me that the new LCI 3 series has it already so doesn't need it.

I know because my padding came out and they had to replace it.

IS there a warranty on the tint?

I know BMW charges $450 but with lifetime warranty as long as you own your car.

I don't think they will say anything if you go back and ask them to fix something, though I didn't get a receipt for the work they did on my car.

They also provide lifetime warranty at Thornhill btw.

You didnt get a reciept? Did ya pay cash? I had a choice to pay tax and get a receipt or cash payment with no receipt.
