I have oem stock rear for now and that m rear bumper with the performance diffuser is nice, but I don't think I can do it as it wouldn't match my m3 front.

I don't even want to ask how much the rear fusion would be plus it looks like a tough diy job...

I'm sitting idle with my stock rear for now until I find an reasonable solution

I would go for the mtech, I think it looks better than the M3 rear, personally.

I do think it looks better as well but I don't think it'll flow or match the lines of the m3 front end conversion. Don't get me wrong it looks damn good and even more aggressive with the cf performance diffuser but it just wouldn't match what I'm trying to achieve. I wish someone made a m3 rear for the e91...

I might try to get a used bumper and try to plasti-weld them myself...

Ha, I've got the factory M Sport kit and have received crap for my quads saying I was trying to look like an M3... Anyway M3s lines are just a little tighter on center. M-tech is more spread, but they have a similar look. I don't think it would look bad with M3 bits. I'm going to be keeping it (if)when I get my 1M front bumper.

I don't understand that at all, but there's always someone with a weird opinion. Personally I like the rear on your car better than any M3.

I live in Norwalk, where do you work? I'd love to see your car with that front end conversion. You should come out to one of the OC meetups.

You have the front M3 widebody on your car?

I work for the county right off imperial and norwalk

Here is my car below. It is a hybrid non widebody oem e90 front end conversion.

I have the m3 side skirts waiting to be installed later, but still trying to figure out what to do with the rear end...

Cool man, I live really close to there. Where did you get the skirts from?

I got the skirts from a local vendor off of eBay.

Haven't gotten a chance to install yet and probably won't install them until I decide which rear bumper to get so I can get the stuff painted all at once.

I'm leaning towards the mtech rear with performance diffuser at the moment...

I'm right there with ya. Cheaper to get everything painted at once.

Cool, walked out to my car to find someone hit and ran on it last night. Couple of fresh holes in my new 1M bumper. Back to the bodyshop it goes.

Picture of the damage, it only lasted a month. Tried to put my scoops back in behind the grill, and they no longer fit. Something must have goten pushed back when the car was hit. Going to have to try to sort that out. Getting the bumper back out of the bodyshop tomorrow, let's see how long it lasts this time. Sigh.

In other news, the parts pile grows.

Not pictured, MMW headers which are being shipped now.

The car is back from the bodyshop. Installed the ducts in the 1M bumper. They're not functional yet, but I think they look better sitting in there than the mesh grills did. I also repainted the intake scoops gold.

My buddy Vvroom made a few sets of these awesome carbon fiber rear side fins. I think they add some balance to make the rear a little lower looking like the front lip does. It's a start anyway.

MMW ceramic coated headers came in the mail. I have so much good stuff waiting to be installed. Just need a few more parts...

Got a call from Apex today, my wheels are finally getting shipped, after 2 months on back order. I can't wait to get these damn tires out of my bedroom and onto the car.

In the meantime, here are a few pictures I took recently in the Los Angeles mountains. Last pics with stock wheels and tires.

Thanks man! I'm lucky to know Moses, the guy that made the fins. I was all set to buy from that guy doing the "group sale" on fins, but then Moses said he could make them way cheaper. Score!

More mods today. Finally got my back-ordered Apex Arc-8's. Anthracite 17x9 et30 for that concave all around. 245/40 Sumitomo HTR-Z III tires. I wish I'd gone with 245/45 to hide some of my fender gap though. The car is too high because of that damn front lip. I put 15mm spacers out back to try to hide some of the gap, but it rubs hard on bumps. Gonna switch to 12mm or maybe even 10mm spacers tomorrow and see if that works. I don't think I can space the fronts though, they're pretty flush. Maybe 5 mm, but I don't have any 5mm spacers. We'll see.

Thanks. To tell you the truth I like the look of my stock wheels better, but I wanted the lightness of the Arc-8's. I lost 32 pounds of weight and got more width.

He might be able to make some more of those fins, I think some people have been asking. Send him a PM, you can find him in the california section, OC thread. Vvrooom is his username.

Oh, and E90NJ, they're just eBay tips. 3.5"
