2010 BMW 328i sedan angel eyes as DRL with Carly app

Hey guys, I cant seem to get my LUX E90 LCI halogen V3 angel eyes to be my DRLs. I have the carly app and the option for having them run as DRLs doesnt work. Any help ? Ive tried multiple methods but none seem to be doing the trick. Thanks let me know what you guys think, anything helps.

If it's an option on Carly to code them, you might have to turn them on using idrive, if you have it. If I remember correctly, after I coded them using protool, a new setting appeared on my screen as an option.

I already had them on through my idrive, and the angel eye options were already on the app but it doesn't work. It only works if I have my DRLS set to low beams on the app, but if I do that then my low beams don't work when I turn on my lights.

On the Carista app, I just figured out today that turning on "side marker lights as DRLs" made my angel eyes work as DRLs. No idea why, just randomly tried it and that's what happened. The side marker lights are not on with this setting. Maybe that'll help you too?

Carly will complicate this a bit. Do exactly as I say below:

Enable DRL
Enable DRL key 1, key 2 etc if present
Enable Daytime running lights - angel eyes
Daytime running lights customization - set to only additional lights US

Enable corner led
Enable sidemarker US and turn sidemarker brightness to medium

The reason for the above is the angel eyes will turn off if you disable one of the above. I can't remember which one exactly but on e90's if you disable one of the above (corner led or sidemarker) then the angel eyes will not turn on. Once you enable those 2 the angel eyes will come on as DRL and if you want to get rid of the corner amber light when the headlights are on just turn off 1 at a time and see which one will turn off the amber light and keep the angel eyes on. I believe it's sidemarker that works.

One more question if someone can help me.

My brother have a 2009 118D with idrive, ane by default the DRL are the low beams..

With carly its possible to turn off the low beams abd turn on the parking lights?
Halogen headlights without xenon and AE..

Thanks again
