I rewired my video and audio out from the 18 pin baseplate connector and put phonos/rca connectors on them. I already had female connectors from when I used the video/audio and usb cable.

I think taking apart the base plate doesn't really need a tutorial....its self explanatory when you have one in your hands....

About the wiring problem of the third wire (video shield)
Is it welding from the baseplate where? I want to going to be using the proper oem connectors.....

run wire from video + to pin 6 of the 18 pin baseplate connector
run wire from video - to pin 7 of the 18 pin baseplate connector

run wire from video shield to pin 15 of the 18 pin baseplate connect
Where is the video shield in the baseplate?
Can u help me?

Hello I have problem with the base blate after same big job I install nbt unit !
Know doesn’t recognize the phone only give power for the telephone
Any suggestions?

I am on the same way that you did and read your complete article about the retrofit of iphone video out with snap-in, I am a little confused with the part "rewire video and audio out from 18 pin baseplate connector an put phonos/rca connectors onthem" , could you please describe more clear how to make it? thanks.
