I recently purchased a pair of e90 lci 335 sports seats from a 2009 car and swapped them in two my 2011 328i. Everything works fine except for the inflatable side bolsters ... I have checked the connectors nothing is bent or broken.. I heard some where that because my previous seats did not have this option the new chair won’t work.


How can I get the bolster to operate when you press the button it does nothing

You need to ground the sport seats.

Did you get the passenger seat as well? After new wiring everything works on the driver seat, but the passenger seat bolsters don't work.

Probably because there isn't a pin in the wiring harness to power that option.

You need to provide power and ground to the bolsters by tapping the heater wires
