Please I need some help with my N54
Hey guys my battery drained all the way down because I left the ignition on by accident. and then the car threw the transmission malfunction and would to go manual mode no more. I pulled over turn it off and then the car wouldn't turn on no more. it was my starter who got fried up. I put a new starter on it and the car starts instantly but then the same transmission malfunction comes on and engine malfunction, and every time I gas the car the media screen turns off and the lights as well.
I will attach a video of whats going on. Any help will be greatly appreciate it. /Users/yasseenmalas/Desktop/IMG_5855.MOV |

You need to upload the video to the internet before you try posting it on here, you can't just link it from your computer.
And do you have a code reader(BMW specific preferred) to read the codes, will be a huge help in trying to figure out what is wrong. |

Not sure if your vehicle qualifies but there was a battery cable recall, it may be related or not.
Did you replace the battery or are you still on the old battery that ran dead? These cars don't do well on low voltage if you didn't replace the battery it may be time. If you clear the codes do they come back right away? |

No I am running on the same battery that ran dead.
I am going to replace the battery either today or tomorrow to see if that will fix the issue. and yes if I clear the codes the will come back on not instantly but after a few miles of driving the car. |
