Style 42/BBS 740 Fitment

Anybody know if 17” BMW Style 42’s/BBS 740’s (same thing but 2-piece) will fit over pre-lci 335i e93 brake calipers? The guy I talked to who’s selling mentioned that he’s had some 335i’s come around that have had them fit, and some which haven’t. Also does anyone have pics of this style on their e9x? I’m hoping they won’t look bad.

Thanks
I bought a set of these to put on my e90 335xi lci, rears did not clear the brakes unfortunately. I think these wheels would look great on e9x cars.

18" looks much better, but they're not very common.
