Kombi is causing a transmission error?
Ever since i got my car (2011 335xi) from a auction i get a transmission light when i go into drive or drive sport only (not when in manual). It still goes through all the gears and drives like nothing is wrong but the cluster won't display D or DS and causes a transmission error code which ista+, inpa, and a autel scanner can't pick up. Recently i've put 2 and 2 together and realized he did a white led dash conversion, meaning the previous owner could've bought a dash off ebay and installed it. The car came with features such as digital speedo already done. so either he knew how to code or he brought it to someone. Would you guys think the kombi is causing the error code to come up?
