9-10k miles. If I'm not showing houses, I just drive around for no reason and end up at random meets. Or sometimes humbling the streets (Mexico &#128521.

That's literally like a day and a half for me. LOL

I was thinking about it. Luckily my son is only 7. If I myself were 14-25? I bet I'd be going buck wild, bars, beach, etc.

Instead? I've become the total opposite since March 2020--a hermit hahahahahahahaha I feel lucky that my employer thrived during the pandemic and we've been able to work from home. I did like our office because it was a brand new building opened 6/19 and I finally got a garage parking space and a corner cube (not office they don't exist anymore)....but don't miss the commute...

Yeah if I were 22 that's heading towards one's prime which I think is 29-31...so it's not the time to be cooped up at home...the virus s****....

It was rather funny when I took it in for a PA state inspection, I told them I'm exempt from emissions. The SA says did we do it last year? I said no but here's the receipt from another dealer. Then of course he was calculating to see that I was 5,000 miles or less, and came up with 280....even I find it comical and ridiculous, and also sad....

p.s. due to the pandemic and also the way our driveway is (one car has to leave for the others to get out), my wife's SUV is the main car and it did do a reasonable 7k in a year. Normally it would be 15k or so....and my DD would be about 13k, and the BMW probably at one time 6-7k but not recently in the last 5 years...

30k a year? Damn, If I had to drive that far to work I'd probably buy a 90s Camry as a daily and use the BMW as a weekend car

I'd rather keep the BMW for the weekend if I was in 19jdog position to save the miles and put the miles on a car I care less about.

Just somewhat nervous to go to a 4-year uni
As long as you stay on top of your maintenance.. I've seen your forum posts and the level to which you want to maintain your car - you'll be fine. Parts fail, of course.. but as long as you aren't the type of person to turn your stereo louder than the noise(s) your car is making, you shouldn't have any major issues.

And remember, performance mods rarely, if ever, help reliability.

Performance mods exist on an N52 ?

I don't like modifying my cars. I like the OG look of the E9X

That's what I got the LS430 for....hate to admit it I drove the LS a few times for work with trips of 250 miles one way and got reimbursed dunno in the 50 cent range (I remember it going down 2020) so not worth it. I could have elected to rent a car but it wastes so much time. The LS is so set it and forget it, it probably isn't even possible to destroy it until it starts getting into the 900k range like from YouTube lol

I only used my 335 one time for a business road trip, and wouldn't you know it went into limp mode

Actually it was a good thing because my extended warranty had 4 days left when that happened in late 2013 (I got the 7/100)

Lexuses are indestructible but boring to drive.

Sometimes I wish my dad didn't sell his 98 Camry two years back.

It had 185k-186k miles on it. He sold it because when it rained or snowed, water would seep in from the driver's side door (someone hit the door when he drove it to the city in a parking garage and it was dinged up).

Other than that, the thing drove good. It did need a motor mount It's a 90s Toyota. Replacing motor mounts take about 30 min max.

Before he sold it, he put about $1k into it . Got new rear wheel bearings put in, windshield and front brake pads + rotors and rear shoes + drums.

Trans was running good and so was the engine.

He sold it for $1,800

Pre COVID, 3,500-4,000 miles a year. Since August 2020, to today, April 2021, 8,000 miles. Due to Covid, public transportation near my home has been reduced. I now have to drive 42 miles a day to get to a bus, that takes me to work. So 210 miles a week. Before Covid, I was driving 10 miles a week. Hopefully bus service resumes near my home soon.
