Well I've been running 16psi for 2 weeks on the stage 1. While that had great power it feels nowhere as good as 14 psi on the stage 2. It pulls the same in every gear the power comes instantly and smooth (feels just as fast). So yeah I would go on a limb and say it feels completely different hell I would say the whole driving experienced has been a lot more enjoyable.

I would also say that while running lower boost on stage 2, it feels as good if not better than higher boost on stage 1. It's a lot smoother. I mainly wanted it for the switching maps on the go since I'll also be running Terry's meth set up soon.

Yea install was easy it just looks scary. I could do it in about 5 minutes if the hvac was already off.

Updated with pictures and install instructions in first post !!

it doesn't look that easy... playing with wire, tape, fuse in the ECU on a brand new 60K$ turbo car, is just plain crazy IMO. Too ghetto for my taste.

I hope they will sale this with a good installation guide. I would still prefer a direct flash like Cobb offer on the N54.

Well If you can't tap a fuse or twist a wire and cap it off I guess tuning may not be for you. Im guessing your new to the game and don't remember the jb3 pinout.

I personally like the small challenge and learn in the process.

There should be no guessing I took clear pics of every part that has to be touched.

you got it!

Stock is map 0. When on map 0 (stock) all boost gauge hijacking turns off.

When the maps are finalized I will get some up for you guys.

I would like to get some meth to show with and without on the same day.I know some of you guys are very interested in meth especially with the new ease of install.

Here is the boost gauge on the n55 it is 100% accurate based on my logging.

I will get you a better video showing the gauge hijacking after 50% throttle feature which is very nice.

I am with Jeff here. No offence Andrew. I understand your point too and it is valid.
We do understand that twisting wires, tapping into ECU wires is not a hard job at all. The point which I agree with is the way it's done, not how hard/easy it may be. Some of us don't see a point in cutting wires and tapping into ECU on a 45-60K car a nice job no matter what. Having a plug and play option, sure... but cutting and tapping, no (for some of us - for the rest it may be ok).

Thank you for the feedback however. This is the best news so far I've heard on the N55 platform.

And thats fine Htoudiee but like I said tuning is not for everyone but this must be done to access the Can. You can always stick with the plug and play on the stage 1 for ease of install but you will be missing out on some pretty cool features.

Just to clear this up there are NO CUTTING OF WIRES associated with this install.

Review the Stage2 upgrade guide again. Nothing is cut and the install is 100% reversible. You just pull the OEM wire cap off the CAN+/- bundle, stick the JB4 wire in, and stick the OEM wire cap back on. If you're not up for that then the Stage1 is probably going to be your best bet. Just 4 connectors and done. Or you can just sit on the sidelines for however many months or years it takes companies to make at home flash tunes for the N55. Took 4 years with the N54 and it had a less complicated encryption routine.
