Nah, my company technically never closes, so even if it snowed 10 feet, I'd have to either take a personal day, or stubbornly try to come into the office (stupid policy I know). This whole area overreacts to weather, which is why I find cancelling the govt today laughable.

Cancelling today was unnecessary. The roads are fine. Tomorrow morning may be a different story, though. There will probably be ice all over the place tomorrow.

I hope you're right on the best is yet to one. I'm still out (currently in Reston) and so far the snow (while pretty) is a dud when it comes to coating the roads. This is partly due to good prep, but mostly high ambient temps, I think.
WRONG!!!!

Hahaha...too much time on my hands.

Besides, it's always fun to play with your forum friends...epic fail on the snow out my way, however, and I am sorely disappointed that I was unable to enjoy the day to its fullest...time to shovel the driveway and sidewalks...

AWD would be nice during snow days, but I don't mind NOT driving for 2 days out of the entire year.

I originally thought that the storm was named rather poorly as "Snowquester", but it turned out to be rather apt. It was completely overblown by the media prior to its arrival, but--once it came--they back-tracked and had to admit it was not as bad as it was made out to be originally.

Lol,

I was gonna say, thats what we get for relating a storm to our government. A lot of hype with nothing to show for it.
